Top 10 Frequently Asked Ceremony Questions:
1.  Do you offer indoor wedding ceremonies during months that aren't ideal for outdoor ceremonies?
If you are looking to hold your reception in a month that is not ideal for an outdoor ceremony, or happen to have a rainy event day, we have the perfect setting!  Our indoor accomodations are stress free and provide a beautiful alternative to an outdoor ceremony with the convenience of having everyone in one place!  Indoor ceremonies vary in cost depending on the size/date of the event, call for pricing.

2.  Is there a place for the wedding party to dress for the ceremony?
Both indoor and outdoor ceremonies include dressing rooms that offer the wedding party a place to dress before the ceremony. The women's room has a large vanity for the bridesmaids and a smaller one for the bride.  Both the men's and women's offer a single stall shower, great for groomsmen after a round of morning golf the day of the event, or to use as a changing area for the ladies!

3.  Can we bring in snacks/lunch for the wedding party the day of the event?
You are welcome to pre-order food and beverage items for the dressing room through our event coordinator. Finger sandwiches, Mimosas, chocolate covered strawberries, bottled water, and fruit trys are always a popular, but we are happy to offer you whatever you desire!  Please view our menu options page for dressing room menu suggestions.  You are not allowed to bring in any outside food or beverage items (including champagne and bottled water), but all pre-ordered banquet menu selections are applied to your food and beverage minimum.  If your event is being held April through October, our Bar & Grill menu is also available for individuals to order from during the day of the event (does not apply to your food and beverage minimum).  Our full grill menu is posted on the Bar & Grill page.

4.  What happens if there is inclement weather on the day of my event?

Great question, and we have the perfect answer!  We provide you with a breath-taking indoor alternative.  You would need to decide to move the ceremony inside three hours before the ceremony is scheduled to start, but our golf shop is happy to read the local radar and assist you with the decision process.  We will set-up the chairs for the ceremony inside and take care of replacing any dining tables that are needed after the ceremony.  Since every couple is unique, all of the alter/ceremony decor is left up to you.

5.  What does it cost to hold an outdoor gazebo ceremony?
The fee to use the gazebo for a wedding ceremony is only $550.00.  However, discounted rates are available for ceremonies Sunday-Thursday, indoor ceremonies, and for smaller outdoor groups. 

6.  What is included with the rental of the gazebo?
If you are renting the gazebo for your ceremony, the indoor alternative for inclement weather and the dressing rooms are included with the gazebo rental and are not an additional fee.  We do not provide the chairs for outdoor ceremonies, but you are welcome to rent them from anywhere you would like to.  Chairs must be set-up and taken down the same day as the event.

7.  What decor is provided for indoor and outdoor ceremonies?
Since every couple is unique, all of the alter/ceremony decor is left up to you.  You are welcome to use rose petals, but they must be real if they are used outdoors as we have lots of wildlife on our grounds.  Our outdoor gazebo area has beautiful landscaping and several types of flowers. 

8.  Can we have music outside?
You are welcome to use a dj, band, choir, orchestra, string quartet, soloist, harpist, or anything else you would like for your ceremony.  There are several outlets located by the gazebo for your use.  Most dj services will provide you with the sound system for your outdoor event.

9.  What times of the day do you allow ceremonies?
You will be the only wedding ceremony at Lake Windsor on your big day.  You are welcome to have your wedding ceremony at the time of your choice.  Your cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony.  If you would like assistance with your wedding times, our event coordinator is more than happy to help!

10.  Can we hold a rehearsal in the gazebo?
You are welcome to hold your rehearsal here at Lake Windsor the day of or day before your event.  Rehearsals done in the gazebo must be scheduled with the events coordinator and will be scheduled around ceremonies that are scheduled for that date.
